Our Congratulations to Osborne Wood Products on this 46th Year Anniversary!

Your support and service to the WCMA these past 28 years is greatly appreciated!
As reported by Woodworking Network June 2025

Osborne Wood Products, Inc. is gearing up for the Third Annual Founder’s Day event which will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2025. This event was created to celebrate the company’s accomplishments each year, as well as recognize milestones. This year, the company will be celebrating its 46th anniversary.

Customers will be able to take advantage of the discounts offered throughout the entire year during Founder’s Day, including the entire online catalog being 20% off. This is subject to inventory and as is the case with most promotions, custom items would not apply. The company also notes that the 20% promotion cannot be combined with other offers.

Employees will meet as one large group a few times throughout the day, including at a paid lunch and learn event. The lunch and learn is one of several held throughout the year and it will include a presentation that informs employees of various opportunities they have within the company and community. There will also be a morning meeting for all employees where CEO Jeremy McClain will discuss the highlights of the past year.

“Founder’s Day has quickly become one of the highlights of our year,” stated McClain. “It is a time to celebrate the milestones we’ve reached, honor the culture that drives us, and share our gratitude with the people who make it all possible- our customers.”

about event
As Vice President of WCMA and CEO at Osborne Wood Products in Toccoa, GA, I’ve attended countless industry events over the years. Yet, the WoodTech Connect 2025 Plant Tour & Networking event, taking place May 20-22 in Williamsport, PA, offers a unique experience that sets itself apart from the typical conference or expo.

What makes WoodTech Connect 2025 stand out is its “boots-on-the-ground” approach to networking and learning. Instead of gathering in a hotel ballroom or convention center, attendees are given the rare opportunity to step inside manufacturing facilities and witness operations firsthand. From observing production lines and innovative machinery to understanding floor layouts and workforce management practices, this immersive experience allows participants to see theory translated into action.

The event isn’t just about tours — it’s about gaining insights that spark fresh ideas and open minds to alternative manufacturing processes and cutting-edge technology applications. It’s a chance to learn from peers, ask questions in real-time, and see the solutions implemented by others in the industry.

Networking at WoodTech Connect 2025 also takes a refreshingly different form. Some of the most valuable connections are made informally—whether on the bus rides between plant tours or during evening gatherings where stories, ideas, and laughs are exchanged in a relaxed setting.

For me, this event represents the perfect blend of learning and relationship-building, offering an authentic experience that truly benefits WCMA members. I invite all those in the industry to join us at WoodTech Connect 2025 and discover firsthand why this unique format has become a must-attend event.
